Thinking about investing in Ford

come on, can they really be that bad?

Their price has been around 8 for 5 years now. In the late 90's it was up around 40.

This is a cyclical right? Well when does the cycle come where they make money?

If I own the biggest company in world with the number one selling automobile in the world i could figure out a way to make it profitable.

Even if they go bust i think banks and/or govt will bail them out.

I think this is a good life long investment.

the guys from "Fast Money" said Ford should be a pink sheet stock....

said they were terrible........

id recommend "Six Flags" (SIX)...

up almost 20% this month --- with a lot of leg room to go.........

they have already sold more season tickets this year, than any year (at this time)........ some new type of game coming out, going to be exclusive to Six Flags...... but the kicker for them will be cheaper gas prices........

stock could double this year.............

closed at $5.92 today, could be $10 by August.........

they're not a $5.92. They're at $8.42. And they could be at $10 by August, but after reporting $12 billion in losses, it almost makes no sense, lol.

Six Flags is expecting a banner year............ you can buy it at or near $5.92 monday morning................. look for $10 by august........

On the positive side, Ford has replaced their former donkey chief {Henry Ford's great grandson...who says young people can't find good jobs} with a serious pro.
On the negative side, the Ford family controls a huge share of the voting rights to the company and can do whatever they want, such as putting a donkey in charge again.
It would be reasonable to assume there is an even money chance of Chapter 11 before the decade ends. On the other hand, if they don't go broke you could make a lot.
